How to get to Corfu – By plane or boat
Due to its geographical position, getting to the island of Corfu is quite simple, fast and cheap. The best option is to arrive by plane, thanks to a large number of direct flights from various Italian or European airports. The second option is to arrive by ferry from one of the ports on the Adriatic Sea. During the summer, air and sea connections increase exponentially, offering maximum flexibility and good prices.
How to get to Corfu by plane
The most convenient and often the cheapest way to get to Corfu is by direct flight. There are many airports connected by direct flights, operated by low-cost airlines, without having to stop in Athens.
The Ioannis Kapodistrias is Corfu International Airport (IATA Code: UFC, ICAO: LGKR) is located 3 km from the island's capital. At the exit of the airport there is a bus stop that will take you to the main city in 10-15 minutes. From there it is possible to take another bus to different destinations on the island of Corfu.

How to get to Corfu by boat
They can reach Corfu by boat by boarding one of the many ferries that serve the two ports on the island: the new port, Neo Limani, used by ferries arriving from Italy and from ports on the Greek mainland, and the old port, Paleo Limani, used by private yachts and excursion boats.
Maritime connections from Italy depart from the ports of Venice (the journey takes 26 hours), Ancona, Bari and Brindisi, (the journey takes approximately 8 hours).
If you visit the Greek mainland and want to get to Corfu by boat, you can embark from the port of Igoumenitsa, the trip lasts just over an hour, the time can vary from half an hour, depending on the type of boat. There are boats every day from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., with departures every 15 minutes during the summer.
They can also leave from the port of Patras, the trip is longer, it takes 7 or 8 hours, but it is very nice because the boats are very new and luxurious.
From Italy you can reach Corfu by boat: from the ports of Brindisi and Bari there are several ferries to Corfu. The journey takes 7 hours from Brindisi and 9 from Bari. We recommend that you book in advance.
From Igoumenitsa: Ferries run continuously and the journey is just over an hour. You cannot book and you cannot pay by credit card, tickets are bought half an hour before departure.
From Saranda (Albania): During the summer you can book a day trip.
